The successful candidate will report to the Vice President, Commercial – Airframe and will play a critical role in the following key areas:
Responsibility for drafting, negotiating and reviewing contractual documentation with OEMs including Purchase Agreements (PAs), Amendments and any other agreements related to slot movements, conversion and options.
Drafting approval papers related to any (i) changes to our PAs that occur in the normal course of business including slot accelerations, deferrals, variant substitutions, options and cancelations. This will involve working with the commercial VPs within the OEM Team as well as technical, capital markets and finance team members.
Provide legal support for the negotiation and drafting of Lessor Power By the Hour (PBH) framework agreements with the various Engine manufacturers
Preparing and maintaining a comparison of former Avolon, CIT and HKAC OEM contracts including Purchase Agreements (PA) for each aircraft variant, General Terms Agreements (GTA) but also all Lessor PBHs and other Customer Support GTAs.
Manage and administer the thrust upgrade pool with Engine OEMs and the training pool with all OEMs and provide support to the origination team in placement campaigns of used and new aircraft in the provision of thrust and training to operators.
Provide support to the Origination team and other teams such as Contracts and Credit on day-to-day questions on the order book in the usual course of business for lease campaigns among others.
Administer and prepare the list of end of month decisions to submit to VP Commercial Airframe for recommendation and Head of OEM team for decision in accordance with PA provisions such as engine selection, conversions, deferrals, options and other items of the PA where a decision date is set up.
Notify relevant OEMs of the Operator allocation to slots when a lease is executed and update the order book in conjunction with Contracts and Origination.
Administer and manage the Special credits (G&S, Marketing Fund, commitment fees for lapsed options among others) existing in various PAs
Qualifications and Experience
Proven experience in managing and negotiating contracts at or with OEM (preferably) such as MOU/LOI/PA/Amendments.
Strong oral and written communication skills
Self-motivated and keen to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
