On 18 September, several members of staff in the Avolon Dublin office put their baking skills to the test and participated in Ireland’s Biggest Coffee Morning raising over €2,000 in aid of the local Blackrock Hospice.
Now in its 22nd year, Ireland’s Biggest Coffee Morning invites businesses and individuals around Ireland to host their own coffee mornings in aid of their local hospice. Bewley’s supply the coffee free of charge and collect €2 for each cup of coffee consumed. All money raised stays locally and goes directly back to fund local Hospice care services.
This was Avolon’s first time participating in the campaign and we are proud to have been a supporter of this great cause. We would like to thank everyone that brought in baked goods and to our staff who gave generously on the day. Special thanks also to our local businesses, Maia, French Paradox, Arch Beauty and Mink Hand & Foot who donated some great prizes towards a raffle on the day.
Blackrock Hospice, under the management of Our Lady’s Hospice Ltd., provides specialist palliative care services, and is located in the heart of the community in Blackrock, Dublin, Ireland. For more information on Ireland’s Biggest Coffee Morning, please visit www.ibcm.ie
