On Saturday 3rd September, 10 Avolon staff members travelled to Brittas Bay, Co. Wicklow to participate in the annual Sporting Proud Triathlon.

Wicklow to participate in the annual Sporting Proud Triathlon.

It was a day of huge successes, medals, rain, cuts, bumps and bruises, and many tired legs. The Avolon team took home three medals for their achievements with three members completing their first ever triathlon.

Avolon is one of the main sponsors of the event which was established to raise money for various children charities. Funds raised at this year’s event were split between LauraLynn Ireland, The Solas Project and the Jigsaw Centre at the Darndale Childcare Centre, the latter which was the focused charity for Avolon.

A wonderful day was had by all, and we hope to make our attendance and athletic accomplishments an annual event.
