Avolon were delighted to be awarded the Best Long Term Partnership Award for their collaboration with the Royal Hibernian Academy (RHA) on the Avolon Global Studio Award at a ceremony at the Bord Gais Theatre in Dublin on Tuesday, September 3.

The Allianz Business to Arts Awards champion outstanding relationships between business, artists and arts organisations. The Awards seek exceptional partnerships in areas such as sponsorship, commissioning, training and events, staff programmes, CSR initiatives and community engagement.

In 2016, Avolon created the Global Studio Award - offering international artists a residency at the (RHA) Gallery in Dublin. Each year Avolon invites artists from a specific geographic region to apply for the residency. Selected by an independent committee, the chosen artists take up residency in Dublin for three months and are provided with a studio at the RHA for the duration of their stay.
