Avolon staff pack 10,000 meals for Rise Against Hunger

Avolon partnered up with Rise Against Hunger in September to pack and distribute meals for children and disaster relief efforts. The event, which took place in the Livingston office and organised by Karen Worthington, brought 40 Avolon staff members together for two hours to package 10,152 meals in an assembly line. The meals were distributed through the Rise Against Hunger Network and include rice, soy, dehydrated vegetables and a flavouring mix including 23 essential vitamins and minerals that have a shelf life of two years. These meal packages are shipped around the world to support school feeding projects and families in crisis relief situations.
