Avolon continued their support of the I.F.S.C. Dublin Inner City Trust by sponsoring their Annual Golf Outing which took place on September 2, 2019. The Trust supports local community organisations and educational establishments in delivering services to the most in need and vulnerable members of the community. The Trust is supported by a relatively short list of sponsors. It is managed on a day to day basis via a Board and Projects sub-committee, all of whom are volunteers. Some of the projects we have supported in previous years are as follows; • Scoil Rince Curadh - 55 pupils in Irish Dance school • Dublin Adult Learning Centre - adult literacy • Raytown Angling- 30 male and female youth programmes • Mendicity Institute - language teaching to over 50 people • St Vincent's Girls School- 250 pupils. Purchase of white boards • Lourdes Day Care Centre - 200 senior citizens. • Project Fun Direction - provides sporting opportunities to young girls • East Wall Youth Club • Grinds program for 35 students Thanks to members of our TRIBE Tom O'Brien, Eoghan O'Neil, Gary McNicholas and Dominic Ryan who represented Avolon on the day.
