For an agreed sponsorship for St Flannan’s College students to compete in the 2022 Science Club NASA Project in Washington DC

Avolon sponsored the St.Flannan’s College Space Settlement Design team who came first in an international NASA competition, out of 3,000  entries from around the world. The team made up of fifth year students then had the opportunity to present their award winning idea at the International Space Development Conference (ISDC) in Washington D.C. The competition brief was to design an off-world space settlement that should be a great place to live, capable of sustaining a population of over 10,000 people whilst creating an Earth-like environment
