The Brothers of Charity Services Galway provides services to children, young persons and adults with a learning disability in Galway City and County.

Family Support Services within this organisation offers an alternative model to residential services. The service aspires to meet the individual and changing needs of both service users and their families.

The Service recognises and acknowledges the need for short breaks, respite and family support services for the individuals with a learning disability and also their families. 

The Family Support Service endeavours to provide these services. 

Through the generous funding we received we Avolon’s donation contributed to resources for a Summer Camp supporting up to 15 children on a daily basis and 90 children over a period of one month with diverse support needs. 

They were also able to remodel and refurbish their clubhouse which provides a necessary base during Summer Camp. 

The clubhouse underwent extensive remodelling, including new carpet tiles and calming forest mural.
