Following on the success of last year’s inaugural Christmas Toy Appeal, Avolon was once again delighted to participate in a Christmas charity appeal in lieu of an inter-office Secret Santa. Partnering with St. Vincent’s Boys School in Dublin, Avolon staff were able to purchase items from the school’s educational “wish list”, including arts & crafts supplies, board games, children’s books, jigsaws and a wide variety of educational toys. Christmas came a bit early for the boys of St. Vincent’s, with the gifts being delivered by Avolon on the 23rd, and many children too eager to wait to open their gifts!
St. Vincent’s Boys’ School, North William Street, is a designated disadvantaged school in inner city Dublin. They have 129 boys on roll between the ages of 4 and 7 years.
