Avolon was proud to be one of the key sponsors at the recent IFSC Inner City Trust Golf Outing held at Dun Laoghaire Golf Club on 7th September 2015.

The IFSC Dublin Inner City Trust has been supporting Dublin’s inner city community since the foundation of the IFSC. It is a registered charity funded entirely by the donations of IFSC companies and managed by volunteers. It is committed to the support of Dublin’s inner city community with a key focus of their activities being on education, in addition to assisting other causes and community groups engaged in improving the lives of those living in this area.

Their resources are always stretched and in recent years they have held a very successful golf outing each year as their major fundraiser. The Capital Markets team has special relationships with IFSC Inner City Trust, and Gareth Halpin was happy to take some swings. As for the golf itself, it was agreed that ‘taking part’ is what counts the most and Team Avolon enjoyed the walk, looking for balls in the Wicklow countryside on a beautiful Monday afternoon. Suffice to say, nothing was won but had a great day was had by all supporting this very worthwhile cause.
