In April 2021, Avolon were proud to provide a $10,000 donation to Asral, a Mongolian, award winning NGO founded in 2001 by Panchen Ötrul Rinpoche, director of Jampa Ling in Co.Cavan. The charity’s core aim is to create projects that protect children by preserving the integrity of the family, are self-sustaining and provide employment, and that bring the greatest benefit to the poorest people in the shanty areas. Avolon’s donation will be directed to their MIM project (Made in Mongolia), a felt-making project, and will support the quality control, design, marketing and sales strategies developed from Asral’s training programme. Avolon were delighted to contribute towards the MIM, which produces some of the highest quality felt products in Mongolia.
