The donation from Avolon assisted in VIVA’s ongoing project in Karamoja, Uganda which has suffered under chronic conflict over the past four decades. The project centres around the training of Community Animal Health Workers who would in turn provide Veterinary services to over 24,000 livestock farmers and aid in vaccinating over 4,000 goats and sheep against PPR, a viral disease rampant in the area.
