On 11 October 2017, the annual Irish Aviation Students’ Association [IASA] symposium took place in Dublin. Avolon, under the CARE pillar of Education and Entrepreneurship, was a platinum sponsor of the event. Some Avolon TRIBE members spoke and were in attendance at the IASA event. IASA is a non-profit organisation established and run by a group of dedicated third level students from various universities and colleges around Ireland. IASA’s main purpose is to connect students passionate about aviation with members of the industry and to help the students discover and develop opportunities. The third annual IASA symposium offered the attendees the chance to hear from top industry professionals on the today’s opportunities within the aviation space alongside future challenges for the workforce of tomorrow. The impact of the €5,000 Avolon platinum sponsorship allowed IASA to execute the event successfully and offered a platform for third level students to interact and seek out opportunities within the aviation space.
