The Fifth Annual AWARE Golf Event was held in Lutterellstown Castle in May of this year. Avolon has supported this important event in the AWARE calendar every year since inception. With thirty teams competing, victory was not assured. The Avolon Team (Gareth Halpin, David Murray, Stephen O’Flanagan and Joe Brennan) had a strong first nine, but finished some ten points off the pace after eighteen!

Avolon is a proud to cornerstone supporter of this event. AWARE undertakes to create a society where people affected by stress, depression, bipolar and mood disorders are understood, supported, feel free from stigma, and are encouraged to access appropriate therapies. Their work is carried out by people who have experienced and lived through these conditions and by volunteers. It is estimated that 450,000 people in Ireland require help that AWARE can provide. The funds raised at this event have helped the charity to continue their amazing work and expand the pool of people they can reach.
