Dublin Care Day

On May 22nd, 200 TRIBE members travelled to Stewarts in Palmerstown to take part in the annual Avolon Dublin CARE day.

The Team took a previously underutilised space and built a picket fence to surround the area creating a safe and secure are for the children and the many service users of Stewarts. Within the area, a new playground including swings, an outdoor classroom, BBQ and picnic area, woodland trail and sensory garden were created. Opposite the new playground the preschool was renovated into a bright and welcoming space for the children of the Stewarts Care preschool. The work was completed with the assistance of the wonderful team at Difference Days.

As well as Difference Days, the day couldn’t have been a success without the support of all the parents, children, service users and staff of Stewarts. The TRIBE received the warmest of welcomes from everyone at Stewarts on the day. Avolon hopes its new relationship with Stewarts will continue to grow over the coming years and look forward to hearing about the enjoyment the new playground brings to the children and service users of Stewarts.
