15 members of the Tribe participated in meal deliveries partnering with Making Connections

From April to August 2020, up to 15 members of the Tribe participated in meal deliveries partnering with Making Connections, a charity based in South Dublin supporting elderly people who were isolated by the Covid-19 crisis. The Avolon employees would deliver meals to elderly people who were living alone and unable to cater for themselves. A critical part of this service was building a relationship with these elderly people who often could go the entire day without speaking to anyone, offering them a smile and some conversation. The feedback from Making Connections was overwhelmingly positive and participants really felt that someone cared for them. Avolon supported in the delivery of over 500 meals to 70 people with this initiative.
