On the 27 th  of August, 12 members of Avolon staff used one of their company CARE Days to work with Peter McVerry Trust at their detox centre in the Naul.

On the 27 th  of August, 12 members of Avolon staff used one of their company CARE Days to work with Peter McVerry Trust at their detox centre in the Naul. The centre can support up to 100 people each year with their detox programme however, as the service had been vacant due to COVID-19, the grounds had fallen into disrepair. Avolon staff participated in gardening and landscaping to help get the centre ready for service users to return in September. Avolon also provided €2,000 of funding to the centre for materials. It was a pleasure for those involved to give their time to this charity and also a very enlightening experience to learn how the centre works and the wraparound support that PMcVT provide.
