For the second year in a row, Avolon has sponsored the Dalkey Rowing Club in the summer rowing leagues. Dalkey Rowing Club has been in existence since 1931 and remains one of the oldest coastal rowing organizations in Ireland.

For the second year in a row, Avolon has sponsored the Dalkey Rowing Club in the summer rowing leagues. Dalkey Rowing Club has been in existence since 1931 and remains one of the oldest coastal rowing organizations in Ireland. The aim of the Club is to preserve the tradition of coastal rowing in open skiffs through coaching the skill of rowing and coxing to adults and children. The Club was reformed in 2012 and was rejuvenated further during 2014 & 2015 through fundraising for, building and launching the new Club boat, “The Coliemore”. Katy Dempsey, Slaine O’Brien and Enda O’Donnell row for the Club, and are delighted to represent Avolon as a key sponsor in the 2015 season.
