On 11th May, with the support of the CARE committee, both Dublin offices participated in a nationwide Tea Day in aid of the Alzheimer's Society of Ireland. The Dublin TRIBE came together to bake, taste, buy and sell raffle tickets, decorating our office kitchens and donating generously. Competition for the best baker prize was fierce and the effort put in by all contributors was truly impressive! The Dublin TRIBE raised €1,345, which the CARE committee matched to make a grand total of €2,690. There are approximately 55,000 people living with dementia in Ireland. ASI offer a range of services for people with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia, their families and carers. Fundraising is an extremely important source of revenue for Alzheimer Ireland and the money raised will support ASI's services in the Dublin community. Just €25 can provide an extra hour of Home Care, with €100 providing an extra half day of day care. More information about ASI is available on their website (www.alzheimer.ie)
